PLC convened 33 teachers for a two-day training (November 19–20) at the Mānoa Grand Ballroom called Whole Number Foundations for Kindergarten and Grade 1. Facilitated by Kathleen Jungjohann, instructor and researcher at the Center for Teaching and Learning, University of Oregon, participants engaged in hands-on training focused on incorporating evidence-based mathematics practices into instruction.
