In the 2024–2025 school year, PLC’s ALO eXTend program at William Jarrett Middle School (WJMS) provided three expanded learning opportunities: (1) Sparx JUKE, an after-school music program that combines ukulele and singing lessons with community service; (2) WJMS e-Sports, an afterschool team-based gaming club fostering leadership, socio-emotional, and computer skill development; and (3) the ALO Young Entrepreneurs Program (YEP), a co-curricular initiative where WJMS students created business plans for real-world small businesses creating profitable, shelf-stable, value-added products using locally sourced agricultural goods. Collectively, these programs served 87 students.
