Barnes & Noble Ala Moana invited Hugh Dunn and Lilette Subedi to share their co-authored book, Kaha‘i’s Journey. The story is an expression of Dunn’s and Subedi’s collective experiences, insights, and research. They had a wonderful time reading passages from the story, signing copies, and interacting with many customers. Kaha‘i’s Journey is a coming-of-age story that underscores how intergenerational relationships are integral to cultivating a sustainable and abundant Hawaii. The book’s 39 pages are filled with vibrant and engaging images that transport the reader to a fabled site on Oʻahu where the central character embraces a new found sense of responsibility for his family, culture, and island home.
