PLC provides Jarrett Middle School students with the opportunity to participate in an after-school performance-based music program called Sparx JUKE (Jarrett Ukulele Ensemble). Sparx JUKE is one of many PLC extended learning opportunities supported by PLC’s ALO and ALO-HA grants. Sparx JUKE integrates community service with ukulele and singing lessons as a means to improve student outcomes across academic, physical wellness, and social-emotional domains. On November 26, 2023, over 35 Sparx JUKE enrolled students demonstrated their performance skills at Kahala Mall Shopping Center.
