On June 23, 2205, PLC was thrilled to share Kahai‘i’s Journey with keiki and ʻopio at the Boys & Girls Club of Hawaiʻi’s Waiʻanae and Nānākuli clubhouses.
Co-author Lilette Subedi led engaging read-aloud sessions at both sites, bringing to life the story’s themes of resilience, ʻohana, and the wisdom passed down through generations. Each child received a personal copy of the book to take home to spark meaningful conversations and a love of reading beyond the day’s event.
