On April 14, 2025, secondary students from Hawai‘i Island’s Ka‘ū-Kea‘au-Pāhoa Complex Area experienced a behind-the-scenes tour of the KoAloha Ukulele Factory as part of the Pacific Literacy Consortium’s Sparx Music, Mentor, and Entrepreneurship Initiative. Designed to spark student interest through music, mentorship, and real-world career exploration, the visit offered an inside look at the artistry and operations of one of Hawai‘i’s most iconic ukulele makers.
